Connect your Xero account to Smartek by following the steps below

Create New App

  1. Navigate to Xero Developer Platform and login with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to "My Apps" and Click on New app and enter the information and Click "Create App"

Setup Authorisation

Next Step is to configure security requirements for enablement of the integration with Smartek

  • Select Scopes - payroll.employees,, payroll.timesheets and 
  • Once scopes are selected click "Save and Connect"
  • Save and connect will require to authorize the app via email. Please check your email for approving the integration. If required, please click on resend authorization.

Generate Client Secret and Client Id

To complete integration with Smartek, we need ClientId and Client secret from the newly added Xero app. Please "Generate a Secret" and stay in this page to copy information into Smartek.

One Client Id and Client Secret is available return to Smartek and enter the information as required for Xero Integration and follow further prompts. With Xero Integration enabled you can 

  • Sync and Download employees from Xero account to Smartek
  • Push Visit/Timesheet data for your employees to Xero for further processing.
